Alright mammals, I used my strength in the art of persuasion to get Troy to sign a jersey so I can give it away to one of my devoted followers. That’s right -- a crisp, clean, spiffy new jersey graced by Troy’s John Hancock. Obviously I’m just as big a celebrity as Troy and you’d want my autograph on the jersey as well, but I’ve been instructed to ask the winner first whether or not they want it. I’m persuasive, but also honorable hair so I’ll oblige for the sake of you people.
This is a Twitter-only contest. Sorry Facebookers. But hey, if you’re not on Twitter you should start an account, if only to follow me! To enter the contest, you’ll need to Tweet the url that leads to this blog post along with the hash tag #BestHairEver and mention @TroysHair. For example:

The contest begins today, Monday, June 27th, at the time of this posting. The Tweeting portion of the contest will end on Thursday, June 30th, at 11:59pm EST. 10 Tweeters will then be selected as finalists and announced the following Friday morning.
Finalists will be selected based on the number of contest entries they Tweet, as well as how convincing they sound in getting Steeler Nation to follow me, @TroysHair.
The selection of the 10 finalists will be decided by me, collectively. Yes, even the big toe hair is on the selection committee. Then I'll turn the 10 finalists over to you guys to vote. Voting will begin Friday morning and end Saturday night at 11:59pm EST, and the winner will be announced on Sunday.
So, whoever does the best job promoting the contest on Twitter, and then does the best job of promoting themselves and getting folks to vote for them, will win.

A few weeks ago I heard about a Steelers fan named Nunny who was having her 103rd birthday. Being 103 is eventful enough, but you all answered my call and Nunny received hundreds of birthday cards from all over the nation. Not only that, I convinced Troy to make a birthday call to her. (Well, he thinks it was his idea. But we all know it was me that put it there.)
Nunny was thrilled to hear from you and Troy (and would have been more so if Troy would have let me say hi on the phone!). Below is a picture of Nunny right after hanging up with Troy. She looks like a champ!

It's been brought to my attention that a Steelers fan named Nunny Trozzo has a birthday coming up. April 11th to be exact. Oh, did I mention she's going to be 103? Yeah, let that sink in for a second. Done? Ok. I may be hair, but I know that's a lot of years. No matter how big a Steelers fan you think you are, well, Nunny is 103. YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID.

Settle down, PEOPLE.
Of course you're upset that you got a notification saying I unfollowed you. I would be devastated if something with as much celebrity and power as I have, teased you with a few weeks of friendship and followship, only to discard you at the side of the twitter superhighway.
Fear not. You are not my stray kittens. You are simply uninformed.
The twitchange auction will be starting in a few days. This auction is raising money for a great cause with the participation of dozens of sports stars and celebrities. If you haven't taken time to check it out, do yourself a favor. Stop crying, STOP CRYING. OK, click on the hyperlink you just scanned by and see what I'm talking about.
